Merry Christmas, but mostly; Happy New Year! ‘Tis that time of year again where I share some Christmassy goings on, then look back on previous years to see how much has changed.
The house never really does. A few new decorations have found themselves part of the line up, but we always have the same tree. Which is a good thing, because I love our tree!
Dinner was just as delicious – both this year’s turkey and ham were insanely good – much props to my Mother. The company was wonderful (here’s to family, friends and all the memories we made this month..and entire year of course) and I enjoyed spending most of my days inhaling food and drinking anything sparkling I could lay my hands on. Long standing traditions continued, new ones were made and a couple diminished. And so reflects the passage of time. I can’t believe this is my fourth year doing a Christmas post.
Thank you to each and every one of you who stop by my blog. The opportunities and support I’ve received this year has been phenomenal. Reaching just shy of 1,000 followers and half a million views in 2015 was all kinds of awesome and very, very much appreciated.
Thanks guys! Cheers to health, happiness, prosperity and a whole lot of good times. Have a wonderful New Year.
I hope 2016 is your best yet!

The dining room, dressed handsomely for dinner!
Santa arrived, leaving stacks of gifts. Meems loves wrapping paper.
Champagne image – always included.
Stephen’s Day, dinner round two, which is sometimes even better in my opinion!
Just a few of my very generous gifts I received this year – (Clockwise) New Yorker magazine cover from Article Dublin, Foreo Luna Mini, Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez (my perfume since September of last year until FOREVER), Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Polaroid, ASOS Adder ankle boots, ASOS Shooting Star heels.
A festive day in town yesterday – coffee and a dark chocolate hazelnut tart in Kaph, pink cava in Helen and Victor’s, my light up spaceship Skinny Dip phone cover I got half price in Topshop on Grafton Street, a very fine espresso martini at The Westin on Westmoreland street, long islands, nachos and Yaki Soba at Luigi Malone’s, Temple Bar.
